Ridge Road carries you out of Minooka toward Shorewood, where I microblade eyebrows in a private studio: 3,500+ brows over 10+ years, and brows are the only work I do now.

Real concerns, honest answers
"What if it looks fake?"
If anyone can tell you got them done, I haven't done my job. Every stroke is designed to look like it grew there.
"What if it hurts?"
My first pass of hair strokes is light, just enough to open the skin. Then a liquid numbing solution goes on, and after a minute or two you're usually pretty much numb; I reapply it wherever you start to feel more. I only go 0.08 to 0.15mm into the skin, far shallower than a tattoo, which keeps the feeling closer to a scratch than a stab.
"What if I don't like it?"
I design your brows with you BEFORE any pigment touches your skin. You approve the shape, color, and thickness. No surprises.
"Is the drive from Minooka worth it?"
I book one appointment at a time, so the studio is yours while you are here; the lot at the door is free, and your microblading holds for roughly 12 to 18 months.

"Sarah is truly an expert in her field! From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Her studio is clean, sanitary, and welcoming, and she takes the time to explain everything while making sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Sarah works her magic to keep any discomfort to a minimum and checks in frequently to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. She also keeps the conversation flowing, which leads to plenty of laughs and makes the time fly by. Her follow-up after your appointment is an added bonus and shows how much she truly cares about her clients. Her attention to detail is incredible, and the results speak for themselves. I couldn’t be happier with my brows! I highly recommend Sarah to anyone considering microblading. She is professional, talented, and genuinely cares about her clients. You’ll be in the best hands!"
Sarah is absolutely incredible! Such a gem, and beautiful inside and out! I've been wanting to get my brows microbladed for so long but I was nervous about not liking them and being stuck with something pretty permanent. She truly listens to you and what YOU want, hears your fears/concerns and makes sure you leave SO happy and in love with your new brows! She made the whole process easy and so comfortable and honestly pretty painless! I can't possibly recommend Sarah and Nirvana Permanent Makeup enough! 💖
To say I’m pleased with my new eye brows would be an understatement! Sarah is truly the best at what she does! I was obviously nervous but Sarah completely put my mind at ease with her expertise of permanent makeup. She listened to everything I was worried about and talk with me step by step on how she was going to make my eye brows look. She is very professional and very easy to talk to! My eye brows look so amazing and I’m so beyond happy with how they turned out!
From Minooka, the route is north on Ridge Road to US 52, then US 52 into Shorewood, where it is West Jefferson Street. My studio is at 805 W Jefferson St Ste I, Shorewood, IL 60404, with free parking right outside.
Yes. I map both brows to your bone structure first, then build the sparse side up until the two read as a pair. No face is perfectly symmetrical, so the goal is two brows that balance on your face; a carbon copy of one side on the other would look drawn on.
Yes, and you are exactly who I mean when I say it takes no skill on your end. Some of my clients never learned makeup and found the pencil too intimidating to try. Others drew their brows for years until their eyesight or a shaky hand made it impossible. Once your brows heal, there is nothing to draw.
About 12 to 18 months for normal and dry skin, which hold it the same. Excessively oily skin fades a little sooner, around 10 to 12 months, and I say excessively on purpose, because plenty of people who call their skin oily are not oily enough for it to matter. When it does fade, the refresher is $300.

"I was so insecure about my brows for years after they got over-waxed and were way too short. I went back and forth between getting them microbladed or just continuing to fill them in, and I finally decided to go for it and WOW. I feel so much more confident and honestly amazing. I highly recommend her she's incredible and literally walks you through every single step. Best decision ever. Thank you so much for everything!!!"

"After an experience gone wrong, I reached out to Sarah for help in correcting my brows. WOW, I was so impressed with Sarah from the very first phone call! There were many texts exchanged and lots of prep but oh so worth it! My brows look amazing. Sarah is extremely professional, honest and skilled! I started this process in October and shared with Sarah that I would like to have nice eyebrows for Christmas. Sarah made that happen for me, including rearranging her schedule to make my Christmas wish come true! Thank you Sarah! Sarah's shop is very nice and very clean, well maintained. I would highly reccomend Sarah and her salon, Nirvana!"

Conveniently located to serve clients from Minooka and surrounding western suburbs
No one’s face is symmetrical. One brow sits a little higher, one arch peaks a little earlier, and the bone underneath is never a perfect mirror of the other side. That is why I hate stencils: a template sized for one face cannot fit the next, so I map every set of brows by hand, to your own bone structure, before any microblading starts.
Brows are sisters, not twins. What I am after is a pair that belongs on your face, and I wrote more about why in why brows aren’t symmetrical.
Each hair stroke goes in by hand, and the skin tells me when the depth is right with a faint velcro sound under the tool. No sound means the stroke is too shallow to hold the pigment, so I listen for it stroke after stroke, all the way across both brows.
There is more on the technique itself on my microblading page, and real clients, photographed the day of their appointment, are in my results gallery.
The first session is $650. The touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks is a separate $150, and from then on you book a $300 refresher whenever the color has faded enough that you want one; my post on how long microblading lasts explains the timing. My Cost Calculator sets that investment against what brow pencils and rushed mornings take from you now.
When you are ready, book the first session, or start with a free consultation if talking it through first suits you better. Either way, read through my pre and post-care instructions a few days ahead so nothing on the day surprises you. And if home is Channahon, Shorewood or Joliet instead, there is a page for each.
